Chapter 39 builds rājayogas from the lords of the lagna and the 5th, and from the soul-significator (ātmakāraka) and the putrakāraka. It grades them by strength.
By the relation of the lords of the lagna and the 5th, and of the two kārakas, ātma and putra, (the result is) full, half or a quarter, according to strength.
