Chapter 24 gives the result of the lord of every house placed in every house. These are the twelve for the 7th. The text adds that results come in proportion to the planet's strength (24.145–148), and where one planet owns two houses whose results clash on the same matter, both are cancelled (24.146).
दारेशे लग्नगे जातः … । दुष्टो विचक्षणोऽधीरो जनो वातरुजान्वितः

24.75दारेशे सुखभावस्थे जाया नास्य वशे सदा । स्वयं सत्यप्रियो धीमान् धर्मात्मा दन्तरोगयुक्
With the 7th lord in the 4th, his wife is never under his control; he himself is fond of truth, intelligent, religious, and has dental disease.
सप्तमेश चतुर्थ में हो तो उसकी पत्नी कभी उसके वश में नहीं रहती; वह स्वयं सत्यप्रिय, बुद्धिमान, धर्मात्मा और दंत-रोग से युक्त होता है।
24.76दारेशे पञ्चमे जातो मानी सर्वगुणान्वितः । सर्वदा हर्षयुक्तश्च तथा सर्वधनाधिपः
With the 7th lord in the 5th, the native is honourable, has all virtues, is always joyful, and is master of all kinds of wealth.
सप्तमेश पंचम में हो तो जातक मानी, सर्वगुण-संपन्न, सदा प्रसन्न और सब प्रकार के धन का स्वामी होता है।
24.77दारेशे रिपुभावस्थे भार्या तस्य रुजान्विता । स्त्रिया सहाऽथ वा वैरं स्वयं क्रोधी सुखोज्झितः
With the 7th lord in the 6th, his wife is sickly, or there is enmity with her; he himself is angry and bereft of happiness.
सप्तमेश षष्ठ में हो तो उसकी पत्नी रोगिणी होती है, अथवा पत्नी से वैर होता है; वह स्वयं क्रोधी और सुख-रहित होता है।
24.78दारेशे सप्तमे भावे जातो दारसुखान्वितः । धीरो विचक्षणो धीमान् केवलं वातरोगवान्
With the 7th lord in the 7th, the native has happiness from his wife; he is courageous, clever and intelligent, only afflicted by wind diseases.
सप्तमेश सप्तम में हो तो जातक पत्नी-सुख से युक्त, धीर, विचक्षण, बुद्धिमान, केवल वात-रोगी होता है।
24.79दारेशे मृत्युभावस्थे जातो दारसुखोज्झितः । भार्याऽपि रोगयुक्ताऽस्य दुःशीलाऽपि न चानुगा
With the 7th lord in the 8th, the native is bereft of happiness from his wife; his wife too is sickly, ill-natured, and does not follow him.
सप्तमेश अष्टम में हो तो जातक पत्नी-सुख से रहित होता है; उसकी पत्नी भी रोगिणी, दुःशीला और अननुगामिनी होती है।
24.80दारेशे धर्मभावस्थे … । जायाहृतमना जातो बह्वारम्भकरो नरः
With the 7th lord in the 9th, …; the native's mind is captured by his wife; the man undertakes many ventures.
सप्तमेश नवम में हो तो …; जातक का मन पत्नी में आसक्त रहता है; वह अनेक कार्यों का आरंभ करने वाला होता है।
24.81दारेशे कर्मभावस्थे नास्य जाया वशानुगा । स्वयं धर्मरतो जातो धनपुत्रादिसंयुतः
With the 7th lord in the 10th, his wife is not under his control; the native himself is devoted to dharma and has wealth, sons and the like.
सप्तमेश दशम में हो तो उसकी पत्नी उसके वश में नहीं रहती; जातक स्वयं धर्म-परायण तथा धन, पुत्र आदि से युक्त होता है।
24.82दारेशे लाभभावस्थे दारैरर्थसमागमः । पुत्रादिसुखमल्पं च जनः कन्याप्रजो भवेत्
With the 7th lord in the 11th, wealth comes through the wife; there is little happiness from sons and the like; and the person has daughters as offspring.
सप्तमेश एकादश में हो तो पत्नी के द्वारा धन-प्राप्ति होती है; पुत्र आदि का सुख अल्प होता है; और जातक को कन्या-संतान होती है।
24.83दारेशे व्ययगे जातो दरिद्रः कृपणोऽपि वा । भार्याऽपि व्ययशीलाऽस्य वस्त्राजीवी नरो भवेत्
With the 7th lord in the 12th, the native is poor or a miser; his wife too is given to spending; the man lives by clothes.
सप्तमेश द्वादश में हो तो जातक दरिद्र अथवा कृपण होता है; उसकी पत्नी भी खर्चीली होती है; वह वस्त्र से आजीविका चलाता है।
24.84I shall tell the results of the house of the wife; listen, O best of the twice-born. When the lord of the 7th is in its own sign or in its exaltation, declare full happiness from the wife.

The lord of the 7th placed in the 12th, 6th or 8th makes the wife sickly — except when it is in its own sign, and likewise except in exaltation and the like.
