Chapter 24 gives the result of the lord of every house placed in every house. These are the twelve for the 1st. The text adds that results come in proportion to the planet's strength (24.145–148), and where one planet owns two houses whose results clash on the same matter, both are cancelled (24.146).

लग्नेश षष्ठ में हो तो जातक शरीर-सुख से रहित होता है; पाप ग्रहों से युक्त और शुभ दृष्टि से रहित हो तो शत्रुओं से पीड़ा।

24.9लग्नेशे दशमे जातः पितृसौख्यसमन्वितः । नृपमान्यो जने ख्यातः स्वार्जितस्वो न संशयः

With the lagna lord in the 12th, without a benefic's aspect or conjunction, one is without bodily happiness, spends uselessly, and is very angry.
लग्नेश द्वादश में हो और शुभ ग्रह की दृष्टि या युति न हो, तो जातक शरीर-सुख से रहित, व्यर्थ व्यय करने वाला और महाक्रोधी होता है।
24.12The lagna lord with a malefic, in the 8th, 6th or 12th, takes away bodily happiness. The lagna lord placed in a kendra or trikoṇa always gives bodily happiness.

The lagna lord combust, debilitated or in an enemy's sign causes disease. Benefics in kendras and trikoṇas are held to remove all disease.

When the lagna or the Moon is aspected or joined by cruel planets and has no benefic aspect, the native has no bodily happiness.
12.3
With a benefic in the lagna one is handsome; with a cruel planet there, without good looks. With the lagna joined or aspected by benefic planets, one has bodily happiness.
