Chapter 24 gives the result of the lord of every house placed in every house. These are the twelve for the 3rd. The text adds that results come in proportion to the planet's strength (24.145–148), and where one planet owns two houses whose results clash on the same matter, both are cancelled (24.146).
लग्नगे सहजाधीशे स्वभुजार्जितवित्तवान् । सेवाज्ञः साहसी जातो विद्याहीनोऽपि बुद्धिमान्
With the 3rd lord in the lagna, the native has wealth earned by his own arms, knows how to serve, is adventurous, and though without learning is intelligent.
तृतीयेश लग्न में हो तो जातक अपने बाहुबल से धन अर्जित करने वाला, सेवा जानने वाला, साहसी, और विद्याहीन होकर भी बुद्धिमान होता है।
24.25द्वितीये सहजाधीशे स्थूलो विक्रमवर्जितः । स्वल्पारम्भी सुखी न स्यात् परस्त्रीधनकामुकः

तृतीयेश द्वितीय में हो तो जातक स्थूल, पराक्रमहीन, कम उद्यम करने वाला, असुखी, और … पर-धन की कामना करने वाला होता है।
24.26सहजे सहजाधीशे सहोदरसुखान्वितः । धनपुत्रयुतो हृष्टो भुनक्ति सुखमद्भुतम्
With the 3rd lord in the 3rd, one has happiness from siblings, wealth and sons, is cheerful, and enjoys wonderful happiness.
तृतीयेश तृतीय में हो तो जातक सहोदरों के सुख से युक्त, धन और पुत्रों वाला, प्रसन्न, और अद्भुत सुख भोगने वाला होता है।
24.27सुखस्थे सहजाधीशे सुखी च धनसंयुतः । मतिमान् जायते बालो दुष्टभार्यापतिश्च सः
With the 3rd lord in the 4th, the native is born happy, wealthy and intelligent, and he is the husband of a wicked wife.
तृतीयेश चतुर्थ में हो तो जातक सुखी, धनवान और बुद्धिमान होता है, और वह दुष्ट पत्नी का पति होता है।
24.28सुतस्थे सहजाधीशे पुत्रवान् गुणसंयुतः । भार्या तस्य भवेत् क्रूरा क्रूरग्रहयुतेक्षिते
With the 3rd lord in the 5th, one has sons and is virtuous; joined with or aspected by a cruel planet, his wife is cruel.

With the 3rd lord in the 9th, one is without happiness from the father; his fortune rises through women; he has happiness from sons and the like.
तृतीयेश नवम में हो तो जातक पिता के सुख से रहित होता है; स्त्रियों द्वारा उसका भाग्योदय होता है; वह पुत्र आदि के सुख से युक्त होता है।
24.33दशमे सहजाधीशे जातः सर्वसुखान्वितः । स्वभुजार्जितवित्तश्च दुष्टस्त्रीभरणे रतः
With the 3rd lord in the 10th, the native has all happiness, wealth earned by his own arms, and is intent on maintaining wicked women.
तृतीयेश दशम में हो तो जातक सब सुखों से युक्त, अपने बाहुबल से अर्जित धन वाला, और दुष्ट स्त्रियों के पोषण में रत होता है।
24.34लाभगे सहजाधीशे व्यापारे लाभवान् सदा । विद्याहीनोऽपि मेधावी साहसी परसेवकः
With the 3rd lord in the 11th, one always gains in trade, is intelligent though without learning, adventurous, and serves others.
तृतीयेश एकादश में हो तो जातक व्यापार में सदा लाभ वाला, विद्याहीन होकर भी मेधावी, साहसी और दूसरों का सेवक होता है।
24.35व्ययस्थे सहजाधीशे कुकार्ये व्ययकृज्जनः । पिता तस्य भवेत् क्रूरः स्त्रीभिर्भाग्योदयस्तथा
With the 3rd lord in the 12th, the person spends on bad deeds, his father is cruel, and his fortune rises through women.
तृतीयेश द्वादश में हो तो व्यक्ति कुकर्मों में व्यय करता है, उसका पिता क्रूर होता है, और स्त्रियों द्वारा भाग्योदय होता है।
24.36Now I shall tell the results of the 3rd house (of valour), O twice-born. With the 3rd joined or aspected by a benefic, the man has brothers and is valorous.
